Bruce
Bennett Music Labs
Inspired by a guitarist who was using EH LPB1s all chained together into a Plexi stack. The original idea was to keep cascading more gain into the front of the amp until you had the maximum overdrive possible before total sound degradation occurred. This meant the amp was being "pushed" into distortion before it was even turned up to a fair volume. As the amp volume increased, so did the distortion, until you had a screaming feedbacking, monster connected to your guitar. Now for the refinements . . . First, the EH units didn't have any way to control the maximum output volume, and they didn't have a "clean switching" bypass or an LED indicator to tell you which ones were on. They also were very cumbersome to use in this manner, so Bruce Bennett built a pedal that does everything the original idea does. It also includes a master volume and LED indicators as well as a true bypassing switch system that is clear and quiet. Point to Point hand wired. Employs "True Bypass" circuitry so it doesn't color the sound of your guitar/amp when not engaged. Uses a 9 Volt battery or a standard 9 Volt AC adapter, which is not included.
