Dean Pickups Time Capsule

The Dean Time Capsule series of pickups is what Dean currently uses in their original TC series guitars. These pickups capture the biting tones of the vintage Dean instruments produced from 1977 to 1986 with very strong lows and mids creating the tone that was used to record multiple platinum albums during this era.

Dean Pickups

F-spacing refers to a wider spacing between pole pieces. For proper string alignment and balanced output, F-spaced humbuckers should be used in the bridge position on all guitars with string spacing of 2.1" (53 mm) or greater at the bridge. This applies to most guitars with tremolos, as well as most newer fixed-bridge instruments. On guitars with a nut width of 1 11/16" (43 mm) or greater, F-spaced pickups can be used in the neck position as well.
