Fulltone Robin Trower Overdrive
Robin Trower is known for TONE. While working with Robin during his latest Tour,
Fulltone developed
an Overdrive truly worthy of the Trower namesake. Touch responsive, huge sounding, sustain for days... and crystal clear when the guitar's
volume knob is reduced for great live dynamics. Being that Robin uses Fenders as well as
Marshalls, it had to work well with both types...it does. And Robin hits so hard that the front
end of the pedal had to be tuned for those .012-.048 tuned-down strings...the RTO holds tight
and smooth for Strat and Les Paul players alike. The RTO is not a
Fulltone
OCD. It is a simple Overdrive circuit utilizing a JFET opamp with no input buffer, which
results in excellent touch sensitivity and clean-up no matter what pickups or effect signal are
fed into it. The RTO gets its distortion from a combination of different types of diodes in the
opamp's feedback loop to achieve a natural sounding, asymmetrical waveform. The combination of
High Input Impedance and Low Output Impedance allow the pedal to mate with other effects like
wah wah and vibe, making it "pedal friendly" (like a

2 MOSFET). Features True Bypass Switching via the Fulltone 3PDT switch. All subject to change without notice. $224.10
